Administrative Assistant Bookkeeper

A fantastic opportunity which has come about due to big growth plans, in CCResponse is seeking to recruit a part-time Accounts Handler to be part of the business.

You will be joining as part of one of the specialist teams in their Stockport office, with free on-site parking and close proximity to Stockport Town Centre which is full of shops, take-aways, restaurants and more.

As an Account Handler in this highly regarded claims business, you will be the first port of call for all invoicing queries and questions. You will be responsible for gaining an understanding of the client’s business, accounts handling, VAT returns and general invoicing from claim to claim. You will be part of a growing company and as the business grows further the role could change to a full-time position.

You will need to have good proven experience as an Account Handler, with excellent technical knowledge across invoicing roles and a real focus on delivering a high quality service to customers at all times.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Generating any general invoices for insurers or work clients.
  • Keeping a log/spreadsheet of all invoicing and reconciling.
  • Managing internal financial model/management accounts.
  • Liasing with our external bookkeeper and accountant for preparation of year end accounts and VAT returns.
  • Checking and querying invoices from larger complex providers such as copart and other cross hire providers to make sure we are being invoiced correctly.
  • Reconciling and arranging payment of client money in and out of our account.
  • Reviewing and handling parking tickets / fines.
  • Keeping a simple spreadsheet of all payment packs issues along with settlement info.
  • Maintaining regular contact and building long lasting and effective working relationships internal and external parties.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Will be able to demonstrate good technical knowledge and ideally have experience of dealing with accounts handling.
  • A confident communicator with excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Keen eye for detail, possessing exceptional organisation and administrative skills.
  • Ideally holding or working towards bookkeeping and accounts related qualifications. (AAT or equivalent)

Motor Claims FNOL Handler

On-site, Full-time
26-28k (depending on experience)

Working Hours: 9-5 / 10-6 / 12-8 (various shift patterns available)

A fantastic opportunity which has come about due to big growth plans, in CCResponse is seeking to recruit a full-time Claims Handler to be part of the business.

You will be joining as part of one of the specialist teams in their Stockport office, with free on-site parking and close proximity to Stockport Town Centre which is full of shops, take-aways, restaurants and more. There are flexible paid holidays and commission incentive scheme on top of the basic salary.

As a Claims Handler, you will be both making and receiving calls in relation to non-fault accident claims. These claims will have been received via our website and google adverts. You will be responsible for taking all the necessary claims details (FNOL), review images of damage and confirm if the vehicle is roadworthy or unroadworthy and also determine liability. You will also look to recover the clients vehicle, arrange repairs where applicable, arrange a replacement credit hire and instruct our in-house motor engineers.

As we are a small business, we are looking for candidates with claims handling experience or experience within the motor industry/motor insurance industry.

Credit hire experience desirable but not necessary.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Taking inbound calls relating to new and existing claims.
  • Taking inbound calls from third party insurers and service providers.
  • Making outbound calls relating to new claims and completing FNOL.
  • Making outbound calls in relation to existing claims to clients, service providers and third party insurance companies where necessary.
  • Arranging services such as collection of clients vehicle, credit hire, repairs.
  • Logging all FNOL claims into our claims management system.
  • Reviewing images of claims and determining whether a vehicle is driveable vs undriveable.
  • Reviewing circumstances on claims and determining liability, ensuring that we can proceed forward with the claim and delegate the claim to the correct service provide or close the claim down where necessary.

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Will be able to demonstrate good technical knowledge and ideally have experience of claims handling/motor claims handling.
  • A confident communicator with excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills.
  • Keen eye for detail, possessing exceptional organisation and administrative skills.
  • Credit hire experience desirable but not essential.
